About the Network

The Network to Stop Drone Surveillance and Warfare (NSDSW) was formed at a meeting in New York City on December 15, 2012. The "No Drones Network" -- a network of drone protest websites -- is a founding member of the larger NSDSW.

At its initial meeting, the NSDSW called for the "April Days of Action" - a nationwide mobilization against drones during April, 2013.

The "April Days" was a nationwide antiwar campaign that is unprecedented in scope in recent years!

On May 29, 2013, NSDSW leaders met in Philadelphia to plan the way forward.

NSDSW has now provided an opt-in form for organizations and individuals to be listed as "participants" in the Network to Stop Drone Surveillance and Warfare.

    1. Gosh... you've got no idea about what casualties mean, because you've never seen real casualties. Drones LIMIT them. But no, YOU want to return to old-style bombing: Then your casualty list will be in the hundreds, and likely the thousands. OH. I see. You want to stop ALL war. I see. Hmmmm.... What would it take to stop all war? Everyone in the whole world would need to see things just like you see them? I too would wish for that, because I've no doubt that you can envision world Peace, as can I my-self. BUT! (there it is, that nasty exception) in the REAL world some people have to be stopped because they START aggression. Don't give me a history lesson. Nobody's perfect. Suffice it to say that there are very evil persons trying as hard as they can to put you in a Burka (if you're a woman) and at any rate rule you under Sharia Law. Good Luck. NOW: the USA won't stand for that. So we WILL kill them if we can. So how do you want to do it? "Conventionally?" or in an icky picky way to minimize civilian casualties - e.g. kill them carefully, as drones are programmed to do. You can NOT stop ALL collateral casualties, but you CAN minimize them. Sounds like YOU want to go back to the good old days of carpet bombing.

  2. Look. War is evil. So nobody should ever attack or harm any one. Period. Now. What are you prepared to do, when, in fact, some idiot or idiot group attacks you? Right then, you NEED to know. What will you do? Kneel down and take the bullet or whatever? Let your family be murdered? Some of you will make such choices. But DO NOT EXPECT the United States Government to make such choices. Most of us will ACT DECISIVELY to stop terrorists from killing others. The Government must act decisively. Oh, I see. You like the pre-drone days! You will be happy to go back to napalm, white phosphorous, block busters, and carpet bombing! Yes. This is what you want. Because you call it "conventional warefare," and while you hate warfare if it MUST be war, then let it be "only" "conventional war" not ugly drone warfare. After all, drones kill a few innocent people by accident. "Conventional " bombing kills thousands of innocent people because it is essentially indiscriminate. You SMART PERSON YOU! Let's stop the drones and murder thousands more! Drones are very picky about whom they kill. They TRY to avoid civilian deaths. But not you! You like "conventional bombing" like we used to have before all these nasty "robot drones" came along and killed a very few innocents. Your so bright! Stop drones now! Get back to "conventional bombing" at once!
